Beneficiary Spotlight - Garry McNulty 
There are a number of On Course Foundation beneficiaries that were injured prior to the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. In this article we look at the story of Garry McNulty who was seriously injured in the Aden - Yemen conflict in 1967, leading to the amputation of his left leg below the knee. Beneficiary Spotlight - meet Steve and Laura 
As part of the funding that we received from the Armed Forces Covenant Trust Fund, we delivered six confidence building events in the North East of England. Beneficiary Spotlight - Sam Stoddart 
Sam, a former Lance Corporal in the Kings Royal Hussars was discharged from the Army in 2013 after suffering from a severe ankle injury, stepping on an IED whilst on patrol in Afghanistan. He was introduced to the OCF during his rehabilitation and despite persistent pain in his ankle, he developed his game to a good standard. Unfortunately the pain was eventually too much, affecting him both physically and mentally. In 2020, Sam opted for amputation and once off his hospital bed, has been able to re-train to play with his prosthetic limb.

Beneficiary Spotlight - Mark Davies 
Lieutenant Colonel Mark Davies achieved his goal of working as a doctor in the military, however, his career hit a setback when he was diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer which affected his physical health and confidence. After being re-introduced to golf, slowly but surely, 'Doc' is getting back to where he was and is now helping fellow On Course Foundation beneficiaries with their own recovery.

Beneficiary Spotlight - Stan Boardman 
Stan was in his dream job, happily married - however, his world turned upside down over a 12 month period as a result of a medical discharge from the military. Unable to play a number of sports because of this injuries, Stan found On Course Foundation and golf as he took the first step on his journey to recovery.
