Meet the experienced and dedicated professional team behind On Course Foundation.

Alistair McKay Forbes - Managing Director

Alistair joined On Course Foundation as Managing Director in February 2016. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant he joined IMG where he worked for 34 years within the world of sport. Initially involved in tennis and racquet sports, he relocated to Hong Kong in the early 1980s to set up the company's Asian operations before returning to London and its golf tournament division in 1987 - creating and organising over 150 professional men's, women's and seniors golf tournaments over the next twenty five years.

A member of St George's Hill Golf Club and the R&A, unfortunately his involvement in the professional game over many years has not helped with the development of his own abilities on the course.

Anne Farrow - Office and Activities Manager

Anne joined On Course Foundation in 2012. She previously worked for Mark McCormack’s sport’s agency IMG in London and Sydney for most of her career. She has also lived and worked in France and Hong Kong and continues to travel the world with every opportunity she gets.

As well as being a keen tennis players, Anne enjoys all sports and dreads the day that Roger Federer retires from tennis.

Will Barker - Head of fundraising

Will was appointed Regional Employment and Events Manager in April 2015. Growing up on the Ayrshire coast, his previous employment was at Trump Turnberry, working as a Golf Coordinator.

Graduating from Stirling University in 2012 with an honours in Sports Studies, Will’s subsequent hobbies include football and golf – directing a lot of his passion and heartache towards his beloved Newcastle United!

Mark Schorah - employment and events manager

Mark was appointed Regional Employment and Events Manager in May 2015 and is originally from Teesside, but after a 25 year career in the Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers he is now settled in Nottingham.

After leaving the Army in January 2012 he worked for Recovery Career Services as a Specialist Employment Consultant for Wounded, Injured and Sick Service Leavers. An avid supporter of Middlesbrough FC, his playing days are firmly behind him. His sporting passions are now golf and cycling.

Vikrant Gurung - Administration Assistant

'G' has been a member of On Course Foundation since 2010 but recently joined the staff on a part-time basis in June 2016. Before this role, he worked for Callaway Golf Europe in the Marketing department.

After finishing a diploma in Travel and Tourism in 2005 he joined the Army (1st Royal Green Jacket). His Army career started by being deployed to Iraq for six months. He has since completed tours of Northern Ireland and Kosovo. In 2013 he was medically discharged from the Army due to a life-changing injury sustained in his Afghanistan tour in 2009.

His hobbies are playing the guitar and golf but since joining On Course Foundation he has discovered a love for cycling - and beans on toast!
