Simpson Cup

Named after the founder of the On Course Foundation, John Simpson, the Simpson Cup is an annual Ryder Cup styled tournament between 12 injured Servicemen and veterans from the UK and USA.

The competitors involved are all members of the On Course Foundation in the UK and our sister Foundation in the US. All funds remaining after running costs will be split between the two Foundations.

TPC Sawgrass hosted the inaugural tournament from 4-5 December 2012, and included a four-ball, better-ball on the first day over the Dyes Valley Course and 12 singles on the final day over The Players Stadium Course.

Following the inaugural competition in 2012, the Simpson Cup will alternate annually between the UK and USA. Royal Lytham & St Annes will host the first UK-based competition in 2013. The following year, the competition will take place in Washington DC.
